Itinerary

Upon arrival at Luxor Airport or your hotel, you will be transferred to your 5-star Nile cruise.

Embarkation is before 12:00 PM.

After lunch on board, begin your first sightseeing tour of Luxor's East Bank.

Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest and most impressive religious complexes ever built in ancient Egypt. Explore its monumental temples, courtyards, columns, and sanctuaries dedicated primarily to the god Amun-Ra.

Continue to Luxor Temple, located in the heart of ancient Thebes. The temple was dedicated to the Theban god Amun and was expanded by several pharaohs, including Ramesses II.

After the tour, return to the cruise ship to relax and enjoy the facilities.

In the evening, enjoy an Egyptian folkloric show performed by the cruise staff.

Enjoy breakfast on board before beginning your exploration of Luxor's West Bank, the ancient sacred land of Thebes.

Visit the legendary Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis where numerous New Kingdom pharaohs were buried. Explore the ancient royal tombs and learn about the fascinating history of the Egyptian kings.

Continue to the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, dramatically built against the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari and regarded as one of the finest examples of ancient Egyptian architecture.

Visit the famous Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Return to the cruise ship for lunch and begin sailing along the Nile toward Edfu.

The afternoon is free at leisure to relax and enjoy the scenery from the ship.

Enjoy breakfast on board before visiting the spectacular Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temples.

The temple is dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus and provides a remarkable insight into ancient Egyptian religious architecture.

Return to the cruise ship and enjoy lunch while sailing toward Kom Ombo.

In the afternoon, visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, a double temple dedicated to two deities: the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Haroeris (Horus the Elder).

Return to the cruise ship and relax while sailing toward Aswan.

Dinner will be served on board during the journey. Arrive in Aswan later in the evening and spend the night on board.

Visit the impressive Aswan High Dam, one of Egypt's most important modern engineering projects, constructed during the 1960s to control the Nile's annual flooding and provide water and electricity.

Continue by motorboat along the Nile to Agilika Island, where you will visit the spectacular Temple of Philae.

The temple complex was built and expanded during the Greco-Roman period and was dedicated primarily to the goddess Isis, one of the most important deities of ancient Egypt.

After the tour, return to your cruise ship for lunch.

Enjoy afternoon tea on board, followed by free time to relax.

Optional Excursion: Abu Simbel

You may choose to add an optional excursion to the magnificent Temples of Abu Simbel.

Discover the colossal temples built by Ramesses II and the smaller temple dedicated to his wife Queen Nefertari. These extraordinary monuments were relocated in a major international archaeological project to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.

After the Abu Simbel visit, return to Aswan for your transfer to Aswan Airport for your onward journey, including your flight to Cairo if arranged.
